Hello,

For the past 6 months i have been looking into upgrading my PC's GFX card and power supply, but every time I think my searching is done i run into a problem but just recently i narrowed down my results. Now i need help i don't think the GFX card I am going to buy will fit in my mother board it is PCi x16 2.0. That's not my worry I think that the GFX card itself is too big. any help will be truly appreciated informational links will be below this on what my PC is and the things i am going to buy.

That should fit if you get cable management.

No they don't come off with brute force unless you want to damage your comp.

Look at the bracket covers and examine them, on the back of your pc left of the brackets is another piece of metal, find a way to take that off, look inside the PC near the brackets if you can find any screws.

Thank you but what I'm talking about is if you look at the back where their is an image of a screw driver I need that slot so the card can fit but when I checked their was no screw to take it out but It looked like it could snap of if I applied pressure to the side of it

Yes you are correct they are the cheap snap out type of expansion cover, all you need to do is apply pressure to the 2 slots you need to open and they will pop out, also that 6870 is a good choice for that set up and will fit inside your pc.
