Hello, I have a £280 budget that I am going to spend on making a gaming PC (excluding the graphics card and case) graphics card I will be running is a radeon HD 6870.

can you recommend what 3Ghz or higher CPU and motherboard to use with this case.

So it will be running a 750w PSU with a radeon HD 6870, 250GB Hard-drive.
Would prefer a motherboard that will be able to run 2 6870's in the future.

THG review of Z77 Sub $160USD MB

this will run SLI/CF at x8x8, but that should be fine with just the HD 6870's even in PCIe 2.0. if you get PCIe 3.0 GPU's later you be already set with the right MB.

if you had a little more you could get a unlock "K" series cpu for future over clocking
