MSI R7850- small black squares across screen

Hello,
My set up is:

Intel Core i5 3570K
Gigabyte Z77-D3H
Kingston HyperX KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1600 XMP
MSI Radeon HD 7850 Twin Frozr III 860MHZ 2GB 4.8GHZ GDDR5
OCZ Vertex 3 120GB 2.5IN SATA3 6Gbps SandForce SF-2281 Solid State Disk
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64BIT
Corsair TX650 V2 650W

After installing the drivers that came on the disk with the new card and rebooting the system small black squares showed up on the screen. They run diagonally in a pattern. I am unable to get rid of them without disabling the graphic card. I also tried downloading the latest AMD drivers from the website. Any help is great. Thanks

If you connected the 6-pin connector from your power supply directly to your graphics card and it's still has video artifacts, I'd call the warranty service. It's faulty.
  3. yeah but first u should follow these instruction installing the gpu correctly
watch the video and install it

  4. Yea the power connector is definitely in. The cards fans spin alright.
  5. ok now did u update bios of mobo
  6. I havnt checked the mobo website just installed the drivers off the disk.
  7. ok try to put on another pci e x16 slot
  8. Still not having any luck getting this card to work. Tried reinstalling the card into my mobo and also updating the bios to f13(the most recent). Not sure if this card is faulty or what.
  9. As I said, it's most likely faulty. Those artifact symptoms give that away. Call the warranty.
  10. Thanks for the help guys. I suspect this is the problem. I have eliminated the possibilities of the problem being with the monitor or cable and also the pcie x16 slot in the motherboard. As the same picture shows up on my hd TV with a hdmi cable and my old graphic card works in the same slot with no problems.
