hi, i want to build a pc i just dont know what parts to choose, all ive decided is that im using a gtx 480 and im not spending more than £700.

i dont need a case but i need=


motherboard,
core processor,
power supply
hard drive
ram
and should i get watercooling?

p.s i want my system to play bf3 with high fps

but apparenly you can get 70 fps with nvidia,s gtx 480

The GTX 480 is definitely a very capable GPU, and smashes the 6870 and the newer 7850.

Stick with it.

yes i just need to know the rest cos i dont wanna get something crap and waste time nd money if i got a good graphics card

I still sense some fanboyism towards the 480. I personally wouldn't risk overheating just for a minimal advantage the 480 has over a 7850 OCed.

I'm not sure why you would get such an expensive cooling solution on an £700 build - is that something that is needed? Do you already have a GPU?

Have you considered the i5 3570k and a Z77 mobo over the 2500k and Z68?
Costs a bit more, but they'll be more future proof.

you haven't listed a graphics card. the card kinda determines if you need a midtower or full tower. some fulltowers also offer better radiator mounts than midtower cases. what cases do you have in mind?
