3570k Integrated graphics low minecraft fps?

Hey, I got my new MSi z77a-g45 and 3570k today, and I was excited and got everything put in and working fine but when I play Minecraft I only get 40-60 fps, I have a 3770k with a 680 in my other pc and I get unlimited fps, whatever I throw at it, extreme texture packs and extreme render distance it laughs at it! Why am I getting so low fps, is it really the integrated graphics?

Hmmmm....At least for me with a vertex ssd and an i7 3770, I never dropped below 100 fps. Make sure you have the latest graphics drivers. If you do, the difference between my and your fps with the integrated graphics might just be the difference between an ssd and a traditional HDD (which i presume you have)

I'm going to assume that you took all the advice from previous members and give you another way to increase the FPS in minecraft on not so great IGP's

Optifine is basically a ingame configuration that gives you a variety of graphics tweaks. I've got a maximum of 40+ extra fps from tuning my minecraft Optifine tweaks to optimum levels.

Try it out, I think the ultra pack on the website will be good enough.
