Hi, just wanted some advice to see if everything was compatible and things of that nature. I'm going to be using it mostly for gaming on multiple monitors and some video/photo editing.

Budget<1500 USD

CPU: Intel Core i7-3820 Sandy Bridge-E 3.6GHz

Motherboard: ASRock X79 Extreme9

Ram: CORSAIR DOMINATOR 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

Storage: SanDisk Extreme SDSSDX-120G-G25 2.5" 120GB SATA III x2 in Raid 0

Power Supply: SeaSonic M12II 850 SS-850AM 850W ATX12V / EPS12V

Case: Thermaltake Chaser MK-I (VN300M1W2N)

Cooling Solution: Thermaltake WATER2.0 Pro or H80* not sure

**As for the GPU's that will go with this system, I already have them (680's)

If your Doing more gaming then Video/photo editing go with :
i5 3570k
ASrock Z77 Extreme4
and either the CM water cooler or Antec Kuhler h20 620
any other hard drives in this rig?
Drop your Ram to 8GB

I don't really want to compromise on power because although i didnt mention this i want to somewhat future proof my computer that way in not back in 2-3 years getting an entirely new setup.

As for the ram choice I want to experiment with some ram caching/ ram disk set up in the near future.

Still with the i7 it would be horrible for gaming, No Game uses HT. also if you overclock the CPU to 4.4ghz or even 4.3ghz it would run faster then the I7 IMO
