Good catch there, will hold off to see if others have suggestions. thanks

edit, any idea if the processor will work with the motherboard without having to update the bios to support 3rd generation processors?

The ASRock Z77 Extreme4 will work with the 3570k out of the box. A Z68 board like the Gigabyte one you looked at would require a BIOS update (done with a Sandy Bridge CPU like the 2500k).

Looking to place the order tonight, anybody else have any suggestions?

Be aware that those tall heat sync RAM sticks may be an issue for some after market coolers. Unless you plan on O/Cing your memory or just like the looks of the heat syncs, the uncovered sticks would be a safer choice.
