Hello everyone,

I Am Saving My Money to upgrade my computer but i dont realy know what to upgrade. So i am asking all of you reader to please help me deside? Ionly Have About R2500 (South African Money) To Spend. Maybe R3000

My Current Specs :

• GIGABYTE GTX 460se
• CORE 2 DUO E8400
• GIGABYTE EP43-UD3L (DISCRETE)
• GIGABYTE G-POWER PRO CPU COOLER
• 2GIG DDR2 RAM
• A-OPEN H600A CHASSIS
• GIGABYTE ODIN 585W PSU
• LG SUPER MULTI DRIVE 24X
• WESTERN DIGITAL CAVIAR GREEN 2TB HDD

What graphics card are you using?

I am assuming that you want to play games better?

To be honest that setup will struggle to run most modern games. The graphics card will be fine, but i recommend getting a more powerful CPU and at minimum 4gig of DDR3 RAM.

That Core i3 will provide a good upgrade for your c2d, I think you will see a nice jump in overall performance.

Oh, btw, I have used Sybaritic before and their service has been good, delivery time was as they promised.

titan-ice is cheaper. LOL

But it would be pointless to get these if you don't have a graphics card. If you don't, you can just add one and voila you got better game performance for now...

These items would fall under your budget.

This setup is the same as a recent build. Excellent performance and future-proof. This new Vishera quad-core will outperform Intel dollar for dollar, especially with a good MB/Chipset as listed.
