hello,

im upgrading my pc very soon, just wondering if a corsair gs800 psu will be enough.

this will be the spec:
amd phenom ii x6 1090t (will be oc'd)
asus sabertooth 990fx
2x radeon hd 6870 1gb
16gb ddr3 1333 ram
1x dvd-rw
1tb western digital hdd
128gd ssd (dont know which yet)
about 4 fans aswell

xfx recommend an xfx 850watt psu for 2 6870s, but thats only got 70amp on single 12v, where as the corsair is only 800watt and has 65amp

cheers for any help
marc

Stay away from the Corsair GS series, go with the TX instead- they're made by Seasonic.

I don't know what your budget is but I'd lose all the case fans, go with a single 7950 as opposed to 2 x 6870, and go with an i5-3450 instead of the FX-6100 / Phenom II 1090.
