Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Parts to Upgrade: Need all parts except keyboard, mouse and speakers

Do you need to buy OS: Yes, prefer windows 7

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg, amazon, whoever is reliable

Location: South eastern Virginia

Parts Preferences: intel cpu and nvidia gpu

Your Monitor Resolution: Prefer 1920x1080 or 1920x1200

Additional Comments: Making the switch to PC gaming.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Want a pc that can play Arma 2 well. Don't need super ultra settings. Would like it to play some of the games coming this spring, namely SimCity 2013 and Arma 3.

Thank you to everyone who helps. A friend is going to help me build it. And if you want to include a decent headset with a mike that would be cool. Thank you again.

Oh yeah, I don't need a very big hard drive. 500gb would probably do me well. My 10 year old computer has only used up like 60 gb. And if we could squeeze an ssd in that would be awesome.
Thanks again!!

Thanks! Does the case itself provide enough cooling? I wouldnt have to add any extra fans, water coolers or heat sinks would I?

You dont need a K series processor without an aftermarket cooler. Get a hyper 212 Evo with the build. You surely need a better and bigger monitor if you are getting the GTX 670 because you don't want to miss the gaming experience. Get atleast a 24". You can get the corsair 300r which is less than 70" and good airflow as well. SSD can be considered optional. 1 TB HDD is useful. RAM with big heat sinks can have clearance issues with air coolers. Other parts are good. Modular power supply can keep your PC neat if you can spend in extra cash

If you not going to overclock the stock cooler and included case fans should be plenty for that build.

I love PCPartPicker...lol the video card is 10 bucks cheaper on amazon and it even shows that.
