I noticed you do not have a storage HDD. You only have the SSD. I would think about something like this:

My advice is to get a Phenom II 965 instead of the FX-4170. Yes, I'm an "AMD guy", I'm telling you, the Phenom II is s better CPU with a more consistent performance record.

alternatively, he can have a low cost cpu and put his budget and hopes on piledriver in october.
