Is 70% fanspeed normal ? (simple question)

i set 70% fanspeed for gtx 480 asus reference to get only 70-75C on load when paly bf3 ... is 70% fanspeed to high ? and will fan broke soon ? or it's normal ? maybe set to 50% or 60% and and get 75-80C ??? what to do tell me please ^^

70% is normal. It will not break off because they are designed up to 100% speed. But it may be too loud if you fix it there. If you are not bothered by the noise, you can keep it there with no worries. Or you can use customized fan control in some GPU utility like Sapphire Trixx which will ramp up the speed to your desired %age at load while slowing down when not stressed.

100% fan speed is to loud for me ... above 80% there is a lot of noise .. so 70% is optimal for me if it designed to wrok even on 100% with no problems it's awesome ^^

70% fan is absolutely normal, quite tolerable, and a good balance between noise and cooling. I found that there was a point around 76% fan when the noise picked up to the point of being a distraction.
