Building custom comp

Im building a custom computer that i will be mainly for gaming, i have a budget for 2-3 grand, but i have absolutely no idea what i am doing, but maybe you guys could help me figure out what i need for the best gaming experience.

One thing i did look into was a chasse and i really liked the armor revo by termaltake, but if you have any other suggestions thats great too!
