I have:
CPU: i5 2400 at 3.8/3.7/3.7/3.6
GPU. gts450 at 1ghz fro
RAM: 2x2gb 9-9-9-27 1600mhz lowered to 8-9-9-18, gets a 7.9 score in windows 7 test thingy
HDD: 7200rpm 32mb cache 1TB blue caviar
MB: GA-p67a-d3-b3
PSU: Gigabyte Superb 620 watts 2 rails
Case: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681...
Fans: cpu 120mm fan and a case 120mm both about 50cfm, side intake 30, 1 exhaust 30cfm, psu 120mm and a fan I glued (yeah you read right) at the bottom under the gpu on the outside to help blow air faster
DVD: doesn't matter, shouldn't have wasted money on it anyways :/  some crappy 30x or something dvd writer
Monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

BF3 runs visually maxed out and by that I mean it looks almost perfect but I lowered some stuff that had little to no visual impact but lowered FPS significantly. Deferred AA, occlusion, effects (no difference between low and ultra) and textures at High since Ultra needs a gpu with more than 1gb ram and mine's at 1gb...

What should I get next? I have almost 300$ saved up at this moment, I'll either get some new stuff in a few months or in a year so you can recommend me stuff that's not out on the market yet but it has to be pretty cheap, not sheit like the 1000$ 690.

$300 may get you a 660 Ti, which should be out in the next month or so. If you're willing to wait that long, go for it. If not, get a 7870. I don't know how they'll compare. Nvidia's been impressive lately (bow to the 670), but there's no way to tell in advance. I think your graphics card is definitely your weakest link.
Can you explain your CPU notation? I don't know what your four clock speeds mean.

well it's turbo
turbo allows you to modify multipliers for each core
so it's
3.8 when running on one core, 3.7 on 2 cores, 3.7 on 3 cores and 3.6 on 4 cores

so a 660 would be fine? would it beat the 560 and have a better price/performance ratio?

also, what do you think about the 7850? It's out and it's only 250$, I heard it's about if not a little bit better than the 660 (and that card's going to be 300+ from what I've heard)
