Please optimise my build!

CPU: Intel Core i7 2600k/2700k
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V PRO/Asus SABERTOOTH Z77/Gigabyte SKT-1155
RAM: Corsair 16GB
PSU: Corsair Enthusiast Series TX750
GPU: 1 or 2 Asus XFX Ati Radeon HD 6950
Case: Cooler MasterElite 430 (i think)

I need an all round PC that can handle ultra level gaming aswell as multi tasking and complex CAD work. Will this do the trick.

Can anyone recommend which motherboard to go for (if any).

How about the 7850? Uses a LOT less power, quieter, and more powerful. I would also suggest an i7 3770K instead.

Thanks i think i might just do that. Any ideas on the motherboard? Or do you reckon any will do?

That asus mobo is a solid pick. An important thing about any mobo running XFire is that it has to at least have dual x8 pci-e lanes, which the one you picked does. And speaking of GPUs, the 7850 would be nicer, since they use less power.

And you want the i7's since they support hyperthreading, which is what you want for your CAD work. 2700k and 3770k are both great choices, but I would buy the IB one since I like the new stuff

Yeah i think im gonna change the GPU at least, but there are two asus motherboards ive suggested. Do you mean the Sabertooth or PRO? thanks
