USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED

Friends,
I am using windows 7 ultimate, and also use an LG 2.5" External HDD. Everything was fine going, but suddenly from past 4 days my system is not able to recognize my External HDD. The power supply is fine and even i can make the spindle RPM is also fine without any noise. The cable is also been tested with other device, it works fine.

I tried with many solutions but unable to fix, could any one help me.

tried reinstalling the drivers for USB, tried with all the other USB ports, tried even on other systems but unable to fix it.

If you tried it on other systems and it still did not work....

Its data recovery or drop in the bin time....

You could remove the drive from its enclosure and either connect it directly to the computer or via another USB interface to test if it is the drive that is faulty or the interface.

I tried connecting to other computers, but found no use. I tried using other External Hard disk with the same cable. It works fine.

Thanking you for all your suggestions to help me out. I got it fixed few days back. Its was the very best solutions i found and it really did work. I tired changing the case of the drive. It cost me just INR 300, its working fine.
