Just had a water cooling nightmare with a leek that went inside my Coolermaster 1100 ULTIMATE power supply. BANG BANG BANG, Yep thats dead!

Ok so I need to replace it.

I run 3 monitors (NOT running Surround) with GTX470SLi (will be upgraded to GTX670SLi when I place my order for my PSU), but due to the way the nVidia drivers work, If I run a full screen application on my middle screen the left and right monitors turn them selves off !!!! (GRRR), to get around this I have been using a 3rd GTS250 to run my left and right screens so they stay active when my middle screen is running any full screen game

I will be purchasing either the AX860i or AX1200i (Corsair), but I don't know if I NEED the 1200.

I will be overclocking - on AIR!!!!!!! (*** this water cooling *** =) the GTX670s and I run an I7-920 at 4.2GHz, I will also be replacing the GTS250 with a new GPU (one that exhausts air out the rear of the chassis - probably something like a GTS640) this card will NOT be overclocked.

Can I get away with the AX860i or will my power draw be to high ?

Thx all.

I'm aware of this, but can an 850w PSU, cope with an i7-920 @ 4.2GHz, 2 Overclocked GTX670s and 1 GTS640?

I dont want to be offensive, but I have already stated in the OP that the ONLY 2 PSUs I'm considering are the Corsair AX860i and the Corsair AX1200i AND I have replyed to your XFX recomendation saying I was not intrested.

What I want to know and the ONLY thing I want to know,

Can I run SLI GTX670 OCd! + GT640 + i7-920 @ 4.2GHz on the AX860i or do I need to get the AX1200i ?

AX860i it is!

Yeah Im UK and prices here are silly high compared to the US.

Just figured out that the max theoretical power draw is 225w per 670 (75w per 6pin and 75w from PCIe), so 860 will cover it nicely
