If this is a gaming build, you'll need a dedicated GPU. Everything else looks good; although, I'd recommend you step the PSU up a little bit to give you a little breathing room. Something like this...

PC Power and Cooling Silencer MK III 600W Modular 80PLUS Bronze Power Supply

would a Asus ENGTX550 Ti GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB PCI-E w/ DVI, HDMI be good for casual gaming
  5. You'd get much more performance out of this...

    HIS H687FN1GD Radeon HD 6870 1GB
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161389

What kind of casual gaming do you plan on doing? Just give me a couple of examples of games you plan on playing.
  6. killing floor, minecraft, small indie games mostly from steam
  7. Either this...

    Radeon HD 6850 1GB
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125353

    Or this...

    SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870 1GB
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102948

Either of these cards would be excellent choices. They'll even run quite a few titles such as skyrim or bf3 at medium to high settings. I just can't recommend the gtx 550ti. Not hating on nvidia, but that particular card is weak in comparison to the 6850/6870.

Just to clarify, so you don't think I'm being biased...the gtx 670 currently would be my GPU of choice. It unfortunately is way out of your budget, lol.

    Here's some benchmarks...

  9. Here's a brand compromise...

You can get the 7770 if you want, it'll be ideal for the games you play.
