Hello,

There are too many builds it's really hard to pick, I'm looking to build a new gaming desktop but of course I have my budget around 650$ (just desktop excluding monitors and other peripherals), and I've been a loyal fan of nvidia so I'm still interested in the GTX. And the most important part is the motherboard I really need the most compatible and doesn't give me any problems. Please help ;) really appreciate it. :)

Approximate Purchase Date: before september WoW expansion release

Budget Range: 650$

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: any

Parts Preferences: nvidia

Overclocking: no

SLI or Crossfire: no

Monitor Resolution: 22"

Additional Comments: willing to spare afew more $ for a good cooling system or tower to keep the hardware in good condition.

Solution
+1 to this build, its pretty similar to what I would recommend. Only one small change.

Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO instead of 212+. The EVO has a smoother baseplate with direct contact heatpipes, which leads to better idle temps and slighty cooler load temps.

The only reason I didn't bother with the evo is because of the $650 budget.

id go intel, for not much more you get better performance when gaming

You also lose 2 cores and have to pay more money. No need to go intel on a budget...

You also lose 2 cores and have to pay more money. No need to go intel on a budget such as this. Most games are more GPU intensive than CPU. I'd much rather get an adequate CPU that gets the job done and dump the rest of the cash in the GPU.
