HP M8430F Media Center (old) - Keep or sell?

Good morning everyone. I recently built a new computer and I was wondering if my old system is even worth selling, or just keeping as a back up for non-gaming tasks.

My old computer is an HP M8430F Media Center - http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01374052&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&cc=ca&dlc=en&lc=en&product=3686668#N180

If it's even worth anything, what would it be worth (realistically)? If it isn't worth much, I will just end up keeping it to use Word, Excel etc. I figured I would ask the experts first before trying to sell it.

Thanks for your help.

  1. I'd keep it. I'm typing this on a 2.2 GHz single core Compaq. Works fine with music, movies, ect.. and i use my i7 3.4Ghz for gaming & video editing.

It depends on whether you want the extra money vs having an extra pc in case one crashes. You can probably sell yours on ebay for $100 or more.
  2. If it's only worth a $100 or a little over, I'll just keep it. It ran great, but I built a new comp for gaming. Thanks MidnightDistort!
