Hi all,

I am soon going to be getting my first gaming PC and I want to know if these specs will run games like DayZ, Battlefield, almost any game really in high/ultra settings at 50-60 FPS. If you could tell me i would really appreciate it. Here are the specs.

1 TB Seagate (1000 GB) SATA-III HDD 7200 RPM 64MB
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64 BIT
Corsair 8GB XMS3 PC3-10666 1333MHz (2x4GB) (DDR3)
Intel i7 2600 - (4 x 3.4 GHZ) - Sandy Bridge
Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 - Low Noise
Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H (Intel B75)
Wireless LAN 300Mbps
ATI Radeon HD 7870 - 2 GB - (XFX)

Thanks for your time!

You should be able to run most games at high or ultra setting without any glitches. But I'd recommend the 2600K over the 2600 SB CPU: it allows you to OC.

Go for i5-3470 if not interested in OCing. That should save you a couple of tenners to upgrade to a HD7950.
