That is a DVI-I port. You can use any DVI in that port. If it was a DVI-D then you would have to have another DVI-D. I hope this helped you a little. The DVI-D has one horz bar as the DVI-I has the cross.

The DVI-D will plug into the DVI-I.
 
An analog monitor has no use for digital video signals.

The DVI-A connector on the two cables, that I posted links to, only has the necessary pins that are required to pass the analog video signals from the DVI-I port on the graphics card to the 15-pin VGA port on the monitor.
