USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: :Learning Modeling animation, Gaming portal ,Max payne, halo, video editing)

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: ( none except only integrated graphics chip,300W PSU )

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: (, make/model of CPU pentium d 915 2.8 Ghz , MoBo D945gtp, memory - 2 gb kingston 533Mhz .

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: from a hardware store nearby

PARTS PREFERENCES: suggest Nvidia and Radeon both

Graphics cards are backward compatible to lower PCIe versions.

If you are in doubt, take a picture of your motherboard & post the photo here.


This specification is same as my motherboard's. what about ddr3 of graphics card and only ddr2 memory support of mobo. isn't there any conflict. also will the raphics card go into the pciex16 or other port.

No conflict between the DDR3 ram in the graphics card and the DDR2 in the mobo. They operate independently & serve different purpose. Don't worry about it.
