He wants the all in one touch screen, and Wifi connection. He also wants to beable to burn discs, prefrably with out having to buy an external reaer/burner. And preferably no more cost than this one ($950 I believe). And it needs to be prebuilt. Windows 7 os. Gaming is not a concern, internet, itunes, Word documents, and from time to time movies is what it will be used for. He also really likes the camera built in. So is this model the best for the money? Or is there a beter one out there? Thanks.

Should be great, It's overkill for most tasks. But that's not a bad thing when you keep a PC for a decade. The graphics are the weak point and no way to upgrade (?? 1 MXM Graphics Module PCI Express slot (available) does anyone really make these ??). But its OK if your dad won't be using 3d applications.
Note that win8 is different then win7. Win8 is almost here. Win8 is designed for touchscreens. (1) Make SURE that this PC is win8 upgradable (2) buy the cheap win8 upgrade now when you buy the PC. (3) plan on deploying win8 on this PC. ....or... wait 3-4 months for win8 to appear on PCs all factory tested. Windows 8 will be available to users starting October 26, 2012.
Aside: I just ordered this for my mom. Smaller. Slower. Refurb. Cheaper. Gateway ZX4971 Celeron 2.40GHz 4GB 500GB DVDRW 21.5" Touchscreen under $300 delivered. There were 23" HP units selling in the $450s. www.ubid.com again, these are refurbs.
