Hello Guys,
I would like some advice regarding a update im gonna be doing on my Gaming pc (I game at 1080p) in a few days. This is my current Build,

Cpu: Amd Athlon X4 3.4ghz
Motherboard: asrock M3a770de
GPU: HD6870
Psu: 600 WATT BE QUEIT PSU
Ram: 2X2GB RAM
Case:Haff 922
cooling: cf 212+ CPU cooler, and lots of fans
Storage: 1 tb Samsung spin point, 1tb wd hard drive, 124gb kingston ssd

Now as you can see some of it is very dated and i would like to upgrade my pc, So there for im going to be replacing the CPU,MOBO and the GPU. I would like to keep the price tag under £600. This is what i have in mind so far,

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K 3.4GHz Socket 1155 6MB Cache (im in 2 minds if i should buy a ivy bridge cpu, i do plan to overclock and i know a i5 2500k would overclock much further)
GPU: Either a gtx670 or a gtx680 (Atm im thinking i should buy the mobo and CPU now and then the gpu in a month or so)

So thats the kind of stuff im looking for, im hoping you guys can help and give me your opinions and thoughts. Thank you=]

P.s i live in the UK so if u provide links make sure they use the £ currency.

its difficult working with other currencies, i would get an asus gtx 670 non top edition, they are dead silent and they have much better than reference cooling. it can be had for USD$420 its not really worth buying a 680 when an overclocked 670 can beat a reference 680. i5-2500k is a top tier cpu for gaming i have never maxed mine doing regular and advanced tasks.

as for mobo get a midranged asrock like this. its future proof for gpus and you can upgrade to ivy if you ever wanted too

ask inthe cpu section, i have have an i5 2500k and i love it, never need more power than it has to offer. you can get a decent over clock with a cheaper motherboard. the motherboard i sent i link to has digi plus and premium gold caps and UEFI with decent vram heat sinks so it is set for a 5ghz over clock easy

Ivy Bridge means more then a Sandy Bridge one, ie a 4.3 SB OC = 4.1 IB OC, atm im running 4.5ghz on my 3570k and max temp i have seen so far is 71c

Im on air atm cm 212 + cpu cooler so i will probably get 80C where u get 70 if not more. I do plan to upgrade to a h100 some time later xD. I use mx3 thermal paste its pretty much the same except its non conductive.

I5 3570K £177
Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H S1155 Intel Z77 DDR3 ATX £119

Ill get a £40 discount so it all comes down to something like £625

Ive just heard that model of the 680 is a very poor overclocker :s

Ok i hit the buy button its done now xD coming thursday =]

Any one know what i could sell my old pc for if i put it in a new case(keeping my haf922) with a psu and some ram?
the specs are at the top xD , but the hd6870 is my bro's card so it will be a GIGABYTE GTX460 SUPER OVER CLOCK 1gb instead.
