2 x 32 md Sdram pc???

well.. i have this old case lying around(soon to be a linux server machine).. and i was inspecting the components.. and i cant figure out if its pc100 ram or what..

please help..

A p2 233.. so the system is a coupla a years old.. it was proboably bought when those p2's became cheaper..

I'd say its pc66 but you can get pc100 or pc133 and it will work if your looking to upgrade.

Can you still get pc66 and pc100?
I had to buy the Pc133 although it wasnt expensive and backwards compatable.

You can if you look around. I don't know why anyone would buy them because it kind of limits you if you plan on using them in anything else. I agree I'd get the pc133. As cheap as prices are right now I've not seen any price difference between the three.

When I go into a computer store I lose all means of reason for some reason.

It's not only PC66, it's the SPECIAL OLDER type of PC66 that the Intel VX chipset requires! Last I looked a 32MB stick of the stuff cost about $100!
Scratch that, Crucila just dropped it to $35. Supply was short up until recently, now demand is down. They ended production while people still needed it because it was selling slow, but now very few people need it.

I'm so tired of cookies I'd settle for spam!
