Monitor Discoloration

I have a Dell 2407WFP-HC monitor with a large area of discoloration. It's a large continuous area, sort of greenish-grey. Ity looks like a shadow, but it isn't. On a white screen, it is very noticeable. What can I do to correct this?

That would probably be something wrong with the actual monitor... Try it on another computer and reset all the options in the menu of the monitor, and if it still persists, you'll have to replace it.
