1080p PC Gaming Upgrade Help!!

I want to get a really good setup @ 1920x1080p. I am upgrading from an XFX HD 6870 BE. I want a reallly good setup for gaming so I won't have to upgrade for a while and be able to play everything on high/ultra settings without any kind of problems. I was thinking either a realllly nice GTX 680 or 2x gtx 670's in SLI. I have not made my mind up yet, but I can afford either.

At the present I am thinking either an ASUS GTX 680 DC II Top or 2x EVGA GTX 670 FTW or ASUS GTX 670 DCII Top cards. The thing is early next year there will be the new cards so I think dual 670s is a better option which will let me ast quite a bit longer then a single gpu super-oc GTX 680.

What do you guys think?? Money is not really a thing, but I cannot afford a GTX 690.

If you have don't really have a budget, the 680. The best performance for the money, the 670. Either way, these are great cards. You can get one now and later down the road grab another card.

So basically, do what I was thinking of doing already, which I think makes the most sense, saves me money now, and is less expensive and better performance to begin with. 2x GTX 670s. I'll get one in a few days, then another 670 in a few weeks. I think that makes the most sense, I have the space for 2x ASUS GTX 670 DCII Top cards, which are the cards I really want.
