Hello everybody, I am hoping you can help me out with some advice, what CPU and Motherboard do I need to run dual Sli Gtx 470s without bottlenecking when running DX11 games? as my current set up is struggling.. or would a Core2Quad be able to run them on high settings? I have a budget of £180-200
Thanks :)

Current set up:

CPU Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.00GHz
RAM 4.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 399MHz (6-6-6-18)

You'd also need DDR3 RAM (which is cheap nowadays) but that being said your budget is kinda low, is there any way you could bump it up so you could afford an i5 and Z77 mobo?

Thanks for your reply, I can get an I5-3550 ivy bridge for £150 and i suppose i can push my budget to £250 but I am pretty much ignorant as far as Mobo features go, I have been looking at a GIGABYTE Z68A-D3H Intel Z68 which is on offer atm for £45, would this board be adequate? and is the Z68 chipset any good?
