CPU Fan error on new build

Hey all! Just got my new beast put together. When BIOS loads up, it says I have a CPU fan error. The cooler is a CM Hyper 212+ on an i7-2600k. The fan is plugged into CPU_Fan on the mobo, and it's spinning when the computer is turned on. It's telling me that the fan is spinning at 500 rpm or so, and that the CPU and memory temp are 80+ C. Not sure what to do here. Anyone got any ideas?

I read the specs on the fan, it's in the right rpm range. I was reading the temps wrong, they never get above 34 C.
