I7 3770k vs i5 3570k vs 2700k

Which one is the best cpu i will be using the msi mpower z77 mobo paired with a 7950 gpu i have a geminii s524 cooler ans i plan to overclock to around 4.0 to 4.2ghz no budget

For gaming the Intel® Core™ i5-3570K is the better value since very few games will use more than 4 threads. However if you are going to be using something like Adobe CS which can take advantage of a number of additional threads than go with the Intel Core i7-3770K or the Intel Core i7-2700K if you can get it for a lot less expensive.

I think the i7 3770k also has a faster single thread performance than i5 right

It does, but the i5 can be overclocked just as well (maybe better).

If its in your budget get the better model the i7-3770K.
