I recently built a new pc, I have all the components except for the RAM which I am still waiting on being delivered (I do not have windows yet either). But when I try to boot up my pc everything seems to turn on (case fans, heatsink fan, video card fan, LEDs) but I hear no beeps from the little speaker that you plug in and no feedback on the monitor. The monitor just stays in standby mode or whatever. Is this just because I havent installed RAM yet? or should the pc still beep on startup/show on monitor? if this is a problem, what steps should i take to fix it? thanks

Specs:
CPU: AMD phenom II x4 965 black edition
GPU: GTX 550 ti
MOBO:ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS AM3+ AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
RAM(not installed yet): 8GB
PSU: Corsair 430w
HDD: 500 GB Seagate

Nevermind....Im just a complete idiot and forgot to connect the 4 pin power connector....it confused me because it was an 8 pin that split apart...It is now beeping non stop, this is a normal beep command when there is no ram, correct?
