Phenom II x4 965 BE Question

Hey, hope someone can help me with this question before I order any parts from Newegg.

I'm hopefully going to be building my first PC system in a few months, after I save up some more money. The system will primarily be for gaming.

For my processor, I've decided to go with the Phenom II x4 965 Black Edition, as the ratings and reviews on newegg were very positive, and people say that it's really easy to overclock. Problem is, for Christmas, my mom ordered some RAM I had sent to her in a wishlist, and I'm not sure if the RAM is compatible with the CPU.

The RAM I chose is some G-skill Ares, clocked at 1866MHz ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231550 )

Is this RAM compatible with the CPU, without having to mess with anything in the BIOS? I know for sure the RAM is compatible with the motherboard. ( my motherboard is going to be this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128553 )

Can anyone help me out? If the CPU isn't compatible with the RAM, rather than worry about returning the RAM, i'll just pick out a different CPU, as I haven't ordered one yet. I was considering this ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103996 ) But i'm not sure how it will compare to the Phenom, plus it's more expensive (not by much) and i'm on a budget...

The max RAM clock for the Phenom II 965 BE is 1333MHz. The FX series can support that RAM clock rate 1866MHz. I'd go for an FX 6300 or FX 4300 if I were you. The FX 4100 isn't very good, and only matches the Phenom II 965 BE's performance when overclocked. Also, what GPU are you going to use?

Thanks! Just the answer I wanted to hear. I guess i'll go with the FX 4300 then. And i'm not completely sure about the GPU yet. It's going to be basic at first, as I'm an unemployed hightschooler, but I was looking at a Radeon HD 6670 to start with.
