Hello
Ive just learned that i will need to reduce the cost of my PC build. As it stands it is:

CPU: Intel Core i5 3450 £147
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 £71
Motherboard: Asus P8H61-M LE/USB3 £48
RAM: 8GB DDR3 (2x 4GB)
Hard Drive: 500GB £50
Optical Drive: 24x
Graphics card: MSI GTX 560 Ti 1024MB DDR5 TWIN FROZR II £167
Internet: TP-Link Wireless-N150 PCIe card £15
Case: Casecom 6788 All Black Case £30
PSU: 600w corsair£53

Monitor: Acer S240HLbid 24 inch £125

£756 or so
ebuyer

I think i need to put it down to around £700 or possibly less.
I want to be able to play recent games on normal or higher setting if possible but need to reduce the price a little. :)
Maybe change to a 560 non ti or find a cheaper monitor?

Any advice about how to downgrade this system to save money whilst keeping it good for gaming would be great. :)

Thanks

That will be hard to do without sacrificing some performance, You can look for cheaper PSU 500-550 watt quality unit will drive that system, maybe another 560Ti that is cheaper, I5 2300 might be cheaper without noticeable performance loss.

Im ok with some performance decrease. Just so long as i can play recent games well, i would be ok with sacrificing some performance.

I can save a bit if i buy the 500w corsair and the HD6870 . (around £40-50)
Would this keep a similar performance and also what other changes (if any) may be possible :)
