Hi all, im pretty sure this motherboard is dead but id like other opinions. It is a Samsung NP-RC512 with an i3 cpu an win7. Turned it on and nothing lights turn on and fan would spin for about 10 seconds and just stop, no display, cant hear hdd starting up no beeps looked closely at screen in light no vague images. Took power adapter out and tested with multimeter its getting 19.8 volts, took battery out held power button for a minute, left battery out plugged back in still nothing. Took memory modules out inspected pins looked clean blew sockets out with air reseated memory still nothing, put one memory module in at a time still nothing, took all memory out still nothing. hooked external monitor up nothing. took motherboard out hooked up power button external monitor and plugged back in still nothing, just the little lights an fan would spin for like 10 seconds than nothing. Took bios battery out put new one in still nothing. Any thoughts would be welcomed thanks, Tom. oh yeah no warranty thats why im asking.
Update, ok hdd is spinning but everything else is the same, just wasnt listening close enough i guess
