Which GTX 670 (or 680) for SLI

In a Corsair 650D (http://www.corsair.com/pc-cases/obsidian-series-pc-case/obsidian-series-650d.html/)
on a GA-Z77X-UP5 TH (http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4279#ov)

I want to SLI two 6xx cards to achieve as close as I can get to an average of 60fps in 1080p (my monitor is a VG278H) with Nvidia 3D vision on max settings (Crysis 2 and what not)

I will be over clocking them.

I've decided on a few options - suggest to me an alternative if there is a better one (also a cheaper website to buy them if possible).
I'm in Australia so that's why these prices are so high:

These are all GTX 670s:

2xEVGA FTW 2GB
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=20330
$1058

2xASUS Direct CU ii (non top)
http://www.computeralliance.com.au/parts.aspx?qryPart=13781
$1058

2xGigabyte Wind force
http://www.computeralliance.com.au/parts.aspx?qryPart=13763
$950

2x Leadtek
http://www.computeralliance.com.au/parts.aspx?qryPart=13897
$878

My other choice would be to buy two cheap 680s:
2xInno3d
$1158
http://www.computeralliance.com.au/parts.aspx?qryPart=13787

I'm thinking the 670s will crap over those 680s when overclocked though.

How well will those reference cards over clock? (the leadtek and inno3d)

Are those coolers on the Gigabyte and Asus cards a problem in SLI? (not space wise but the heat)

Thanks for your help :bounce:

More about which
  1. EVGA FTW is the best choice as the DC2 has 3 slots, unlike the DC2T.

Wow that is the first two slot 3 slot card I have seen.
    http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/NVIDIA_Series/GTX670DC2T2GD5/

But go for the FTW from EVGA better warranty and Customer Support even though it is a little hotter and noisier.

" The ASUS GTX670-DC2T-2GD5 is a dual slot card"

Prove enough that it is a dual slot card? Look at the pictures...

    Wrong card :)
    OP is asking about a GTX670-DC2-2GD5 not a GTX670-DC2T-2GD5
    Touchy much?
  5. Not once did I say the DC2 is a dual slot card mate. I suggest you reread my post. ;)

I was referring to the TOP edition. I never even said any OP card in my post.

Maybe stay on topic and no problem. Saying DC II is 3 slots is not correct.
  7. I never said the Dc2 is dual slot lol. I said the DC2 is triple slot, unlike the DC2T.
  8. I said the DC2 is triple slot and the DC2T is dual slot. Your confused.

Edit: Stupid phone made me double post. And fyi, I never went off topic. I already answered with my opinion of the FTW being better to SLI with.

And that is wrong, DCII is 2 slots. Look at the picture and link to the card on the Asus site I posted. Is there anyway I can explain it better to you? :heink:
  10. Wow, I feel so stupid. I mixed up my cards.. Sorry man!

Even if you went with the more standard reference EVGA gtx670 model from PCCaseGear

    2 x EVGA GeForce GTX 670 2GB = $958

    http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=193_1387&products_id=20210

The Asus DCII or Gigabyte Windforce would be really nice... but with 2 GPU's with AM cooling in your system it does end up sounding like a bus. But if noise doesn't worry you.
