Computer Barely Starts Up

Last response: in Components

So my computer had been running smoothly for a few months after I built it but this week it would start up as normal and the monitor would not find my computer, so I have to restart at least 3 times to get it to work. I checked the VGA cable, the adapter, and the wires inside, but my computer still won't work properly.

PC Specs:

Intel Corei5-2500k (Stock)
Corsair H60
Asus P8Z68-V LX
MSI Gtx 560Ti (Used to overclock but now it is at stock speeds)
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM
Lite-ON DVD Burner
Kingston Hyper-X 800 MHz (16GB 4x4)
Cooler Master GX 650W Bronze 80-Plus Certified PSU
Windows 7 Home Premium

Note: I had problems after I installed a program called GCFScape.

**UPDATE**: My computer operates normally for a few minutes after it finally starts up but then it suddenly loses connection with the monitor.

either test your monitor on another pc/laptop

or try another monitor
