More about build upgrade motherboard advice
  1. 7950/7850 gpu, asus sabertooth mobo, i5 3570k :)
  2. ^ That would be WAY over his budget. Not to mention the fact that the Sabertooth is overpriced.

Here is what I would get:

    Gigabyte H77 mobo

What are you upgrading from? CPU? mobo? GPU?
  3. Thanks for the input guys. The sabertooth mobo is definitely out of my range.
For $199 the i5-3470 seems like a great CPU.
But I would honestly rather spend more money on the motherboard rather than a high end GPU. I only do light gaming (GTA SAMP) so graphics isn't the biggest priority.
If you had any ideas on a motherboard around the $150 mark that would match well with the CPU please let me know.
I'm probably only wanting to spend around $150-180 on a GPU.

    I'm upgrading from an:
    GTS 250
    MSI P55 GD65
