PCIE X16 Running at X4

Hi, I currently have an Intel core i5 3450 with and AMD 7870. My motherboard has 2 PCIE X16 slots but the second one only runs at x4, if I decided to add another graphics card in the future would it limit the performance of the card?

Depends on the motherboard, whether it's PCIe 3.0 or 2.0. If it's 3.0, you should not be worried because it will not hurt performance. If it's 2.0, performance might be reduced by 10% or so.
