I have looked at AMD vs Intel and have priced 2 machines within my budget but I could make an AMD machine for around $80 cheaper. I am not sure if I would gain $80 worth of improvement by going with the 965 black vs i-5 2500k.

So help me with this I have 2 weeks to order...i want to have the PC a few weeks before GW2 launches.

I need cpu\mobo\ram\1SSD\case\video\PSU

thanks for the help!

Don't worry about an SSD at this budget. Put all you can in an adequate CPU and a beefy GPU. Try this...

You may need an optical drive for installing the OS. If so, just get a cheap $20 dvd burner.
