What Power Supply do I get?

Hello!

I am a very first time computer builder and trying to figure out the last part of my build: the power supply. I am unsure as to the wattage I should even look for. Using the parts I have already chosen, I was given a rating of 480 watts from the Newegg calculator (which I have read is a bit too broad to be accurate). If anyone could please help me figure this out, it would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the parts I plan on getting:

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb
Gigabyte GA-970A-D3
Corsair Vengenance 8 GB
GIGABYTE GV-N650OC-2GI GeForce GTX 650 2GB 
Western Digital 500 GB Greenpower
+a standard DVD/RW that I found in another computer

450W psu should be good enough. Make sure you buy a psu from a reputable brand. Corsair, antec, silverstone, etc

If you're talking about the Capstone or Fortress series, then yes it is a reputable brand, and frankly there aren't any better units available under $100 in the US right now.

Antec Vp450W 31$ on ncix ! Golden Award and really good. Can even deliver more than that wattage but your system wont ask it to do it !
