I am trying to build a gaming PC and have come-up with the following.

Processor CORE i7-3770
Motherboard ASUS P8Z77-V

I would like to know whether there is a better combination to the mentioned processor and motherboard at the same price range with better performance.

As for the graphics card I have the following options, but I am not sure which to take. If there is any other graphics card in the same price range with better performs I would appreciate it too.

MSI N670GTX
MSI N570GTX TWIN FROZR III
ASUS ENGTX570 DCII
ASUS EAH7850 DC
SAPPHIRE HD7870
SAPPHIRE HD7950
ASUS EAH6950 DC II
ASUS EAH6970 DC II
ASUS HD7850 DCII
SAPPHIRE HD7850

Hope to get some meaningful response. Thanks

okay firstly what is your budget?
but just as a starter suggestion here is the build i have it runs anything i through at it at max settings (1080p) at 60fps (i use an fps cap so it may go higher i just dont know)

you don't have to buy from the same places for instance i didnt buy my cpu from amazon it is just to give you an idea for price and performace :bounce:

I would start with the best GPU and reliable 80+ PSU from the start and not worry even if i end up with a stock/no frills i5 3450/H77 as

a. Lots of games to this day still do not leverage on 4 cores
b. The bottleneck at high resolution/settings gaming is firmly pushed to the GPU for almost every game
