Here is what I am planing to build:

Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-VLX
Processor: Core i5 2500k(OC)
RAM: Patriot Memory G2series 8GB
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD6870
Case: Looking for a good one with dust filters on all vents (any recommendation)
Power supply: Cooler Master GX Series 650W
Hard Disk: Serial-ATA WD 500 GB-SATA 3

How is this build? I will use it for gaming, is it good enoug? Any recommendation to improve this build without adding too much to the cost? Thanks.

Things I would change:

RAM: (Because the Patriot kit requires 1.65V for the XMP profile, assuming you're talking about the 1600 kit, and 1.65V is bad for Sandy Bridge CPU's)

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL

Motherboard: (More features for less AND Z77)

ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

PSU: (CM PSU's are generally not very reliable)

SeaSonic M12II 520 Bronze 520W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS 12V v2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

With those changes, plus a case that you like, that's a very nice build.

Edit: I would also recommend this, since you allude to OC'ing: COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with latest Intel 2011/1366/1155 and AMD FM1/AM3+
