Faulty GIGABYTE 7850 OC ?

So two days ago I bought the 7850 OC from GIGABYTE. My current rig:

z68x-ud3-b3
7850 OC
i5 2500k @ 4.0Ghz
8Gb 1600Mhz Hyperx RAM
550W Chieftech GPS-550AB A

When I had the drivers intalled and stuff I went to play BF3. Then noise started coming from my power supply and my screen started flickering horizontally. Game performance was normal, it ran BF3 with all on ultra and with 4xMSAA @ 40-60FPS or so. Turns out it's with all 3d applications. turning vsync off increases the flickering and the noise. Some research and i found out that somebody had also bought the same card from the same shop. Having the same problem he had sent it to warranty and he got a replacement, but the problem persisted.
What should I do?

More about faulty gigabyte 7850
  1. I suspect your PSU. I look up the internet & check its unboxing.

Looks more like Cheaptech to me. I suggest that you get good brand names like corsair or Seasonic.
  2. I have the same card of gigabyte... could you tell me in more detail i may be able to help..?
  3. Get the BIOS update. Fixed my flickering, but I dunno about BF3.
