If you are willing to spend that kind of money on the 7950 you should look at the GTX 670 with the 2 to 3 GB Vram. If you know how to over clock then save some money and get one that isn't.

If you don't know how get the OC version. You are putting together a nice system so far just through in the i5 CPU. Any of the cards you listed are good ones but if you can get the new series of AMD and/or nVidia cards.

Here a few links for x vs y cards and a link to a GTX 670. The 7950 is probably the best deal all the way around. I hope this helps a little. Good luck to you.

7950 vs 670. 7950 is better.

No! GTX 670 is way better then 7950
GTX 670 competes with 7970 not with 7950.
"DM186" You are absalutely wrong.
and for "dawnguard" question i say go with 2x7850 it is a little better than GTX 670
if you don't want crossfire then GTX 670

You are right my bad I looked at the wrong color I was thinking the blue was the 670. It sucks when you get old and you are in 24/7 pain because you are a disabled electrican who took a two story fall after getting hit with a a leg of 480v.

It tends to do things to you. Also I have to take pain meds which also adds to the mix. Anyway Good catch and thankyou for clarifying it to the OP.

Good choice and sorry for mixing it up :fou: I didn't mean to do that. I thought it was weird that the 7950 was better than the 670. :pt1cable: I should have doubled check it but I didn't. I am glad that you saw that I was wrong. :wahoo:

Good luck to you and you will enjoy that card I would give anything to get a 680 or a 670 well just about anything. Cheers
