Now i am another dilemma! Another question yet for you all computer nerds! My friend has the option between an asus gtx550ti and a msi r6770, which one to choose and why? Which one is better for enthusiast settings for bf3 and crysis 2 @ 1080p ultra? I want the best price/performance ratio and overall popularity of the 2 cards. Here are the two:

MSi r6770: http://www.msi.com/product/vga/R6770-MD1GD5.html

ASUS gtx550ti: http://ca.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/NVIDIA_Series/ENGTX55...

I also want to know the difference between these two SPECIFIC cards and how they perform. the gtx550ti is a thin hair pricier than the 6770 which my friend wouldn't mind paying for...I did A LOT research and could not find any suitable convincing ideas. There is also another card, an asus HD6770 which is more expensive than the 550ti. What about that? And for overclocking?
I know there are tons of reviews, comparisons and benchmarks out there but i want YOUR opinions. Also the budget is very tight and will not go beyond these cards.
Any suggestions will be appreciated...THANK YOU!

I don't know about the others but those links are not working.

In any case, the 6770 & the 550 Ti will not play crysis 2 much less bf3 in ultra. If the budget is limited to these choices, you must as well manage your expectation. It will play good... but not very.

I still can not open the 550 Ti link.

But in any case, I will go for the 6770. Performance level will be the same between the 2 cards. But I like the idea that 6770 can support 3 monitors whereas the 550 Ti will not. This may or may not be needed but it could come in handy later ( not for gaming but for productivity or day to day use ).

Not really. I just state the fact & in some cases recommended nVidia. I go & recommend whatever is cost effective ( better price/performance, differentiating feature, cooling, etc... ) for the OP.

I put up a forum yesterday on the same subject and I went for the Asus 550 Ti, it supose to run better in higher res. compared to the 6770 which is good at lower res. I am gona play BF3 in High-Ultra @ 1920*1080. well i will try.
