I have a Radeon 5770 and ever since I got it a few years back, it's been crashing when I play games and sometimes even when I watch youtube. What happens every time is the screen would freeze but the sound would continue to play. Then the processor activity light stops flashing and I get a blue screen. I think this might be due to me having an old motherboard a Crosshair II or the fact that my Phenom II isn't officially supported by my motherboard out of the box(updating my bios has allowed me to use it). What do you guys think? Is this a graphics card problem or a motherboard problem?

That same thing happened to me on NBA 2k12, I always thought it might be the game but it turns out it is my old 8800gt. I would upgrade you r graphics card.
