I5 2500k over i5 3550

do you plan on overclocking? the 3550 is faster at stock, but the 2500k can overclock. If you get the 2500k you would need to buy a good aftermarket cooler so you can overclock it until its better than the 3550. I would just get the 3550 though, simpler.
