Just upgraded to a Asus 7850, using 12.3 drivers. Normally everything works fine, but after gaming for a while (anywhere from 2-5 hours, sometimes longer) my fps will drop horrible and even video playback becomes choppy. My card is not overheating (max temp is 58C), my PSU is good and I had no issues with my previous xfx 6850. The only thing that fixes the fps lag is a restart of the PC. The card is only 5 weeks old, I am waiting for the 12.6 driver to come out and see if its a driver issue (12.4 has issues with D3, one of the games that I play). Currently playing Saints Row 3, LOL and D3, happens in all 3, media player used is VLC.
