I'd like to get my 360 online, but the problem is, my 360 is in my room (with my PC) while my router is in the living room, where the modem is (as the cable signal in my room is weak. very very weak)

Like many people, I'd like to refrain from running my 100ft cable to the living room as well as dropping $80 on the microsoft adaptor.

But given the age that we live in, there no doubt has to be alternatives at my disposal with the other "toys" that I have available to me at no additional to little cost. Any ideas?

For example, I know it is possible to use a laptop as a wireless router but connecting to the modem via wired connection and sending out a wireless signal to others. So would it be possible to modify that scenario where my PC picks up a wireless signal and works as a wired connection for my 360?
